Sydney Brammer is passionate about telling the stories of underserved communities and uncovering the deeper context of issues that affect them. As a mixed Pacific Islander, her work is rooted in the understanding that many voices often go unheard. She's a Point Loma Nazarene University alumna with a degree in multimedia journalism. She served as the newspaper's editor in chief and is a current intern at the San Diego Union-Tribune.
